About Us

All of the milk used in our yogurts, creams, butter comes from 100 carefully selected farms in the South West. This area is famed for the quality of its dairy produce. Coming from local farms means the milk doesn’t have far to travel before it reaches our dairies. This helps ensure its freshness and also achieves one of our objectives, which is to create products which have covered the minimum amount of ‘food miles’ before they end up in your shopping basket.

The farmers producing our milk are all members of OMSCo, which is the UK's leading organic milk marketing organisation. OMSCo was formed in 1995 with just five local farms and the main aim of supplying Yeo Valley Organic. Today it also includes farmers working throughout the country and supplies over 85% of the organic milk produced in the UK.

It is the only organisation to specialise solely in the marketing of organic milk and it’s logo on our packs is another assurance that the milk being used comes from farmers with a philosophy similar to our own.
