Yeo Valley Organic helps celebrate Glastonbury's
40th Anniversary

This summer sees the 40th anniversary of Glastonbury, and we are delighted to be involved in the celebrations as the official recycling sponsor. This will be the seventh consecutive year that Yeo Valley Organic has partnered with the festival with the aim to increase the amount of recycling at the event by providing 20,000 bin lids on-site to show people where to recycle food, paper, bottles and cans.
As part of the sponsorship we will once again be sponsoring the limited edition 'bags for life', which are given out to all 150,000 festival-goers. The ever popular bags are exclusively designed for the festival as an alternative to using plastic carrier bags. Both Glastonbury and Yeo Valley hope festival-goers will continue to use the bags once the festival has ended and help to spread the message of being green.
Niki Martini from Yeo Valley Organic, said: "We share a similar ethos to the festival with our on-going commitment to caring for the environment, sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, so we are delighted to be once again supporting the festival. This will be our seventh year at Glastonbury and we feel we have become a much-loved part of the experience. And with this year’s line-up looking better than ever, we can't wait to get back to the festival to sell our products and enjoy the atmosphere!"
As always, Yeo Valley will have a stand at the festival, where we will be selling a range of our organic chilled yogurts and frozen pots at an exclusive festival price – come on down and say hello.
