our calves love yogurt too
Winter is a season of new life on our farms, with calves being born in our comfortable cowsheds. We like to give them a treat sometimes, so when we have some spare yogurt available, we mix it in with their milk.

meet & learn from garden experts
Very exciting news for gardeners this year: some of Britain’s best-loved gardening experts will be hosting sessions here at our Tea Rooms, where you can learn new skills and techniques to take back to your garden or veg plot.
The first events, in March, are Sarah Raven’s full-day courses: The Cutting Garden, and Year Round Veg.

Mary Mead awarded the OBE
We’ve just had our first honour of the year – Mary Mead, Yeo Valley’s co-founder, who’s still guiding us after 50 years, has been awarded an OBE!
We all feel very privileged as it’s only been a month since we accepted our third Queen’s Award for Enterprise, for Sustainable Development.

seal of approval againSome exciting news for us: we’ve just been presented with our third Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development!
Only 10 companies in the UK had the honour of receiving this award in 2011, and we also won it back in 2001 & 2006.
