Yeo Valley Lakewood ~ The Mendip Centre
Rhodyate, Blagdon, North Somerset, BS40 7YE

From North M5, Junction 21 (and London M4 via junction 18 interchange) - 11.4 miles

  • Exit the M5 at Junction 21 (Weston-Super-Mare) and join the A370 towards Bristol and Congresbury.
  • In Congresbury, turn right at traffic lights B3133 to Langford/Churchill/Cheddar.
  • Continue for 4 miles towards Churchill with a right turn at the mini roundabout.
  • At T junction (Budgens Local & Garage), turn right on to A38 to Churchill.
  • At next traffic lights turn left to Blagdon.
  • Continue for approximately 3 miles, drive through Rickford village and The Coombe and enter Blagdon.
  • Passing Blagdon Stores at the top of the hill the A368 bends sharply to the left, turn right onto Street End (the Seymour Arms will be on the left), proceed up the steep road which leads to Rhodyate.
  • Yeo Valley Lakewood, The Mendip Centre is on the right near the top of the village.

From the South M5, Junction 22 – 14.9 miles

  • Exit the M5 at Junction 22, Edithmead, take the 3rd exit A38.
  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit A38 continue to Churchill, instructions (see below).

Approaching Blagdon from Churchill (A38) – 4.5 miles

  • Following the A368/Bath Road, for approximately 3 miles, drive through Rickford village and The Coombe and enter Blagdon.
  • Passing Blagdon Stores at the top of the hill the A368 bends sharply to the left, turn right onto Street End (the Seymour Arms will be on the left), proceed up the steep road which leads to Rhodyate.
  • Yeo Valley Lakewood, The Mendip Centre is located on the right near the top of the village.

Approaching Blagdon from the East (Bath – 20.3 miles etc, A39 > A368)

  • Drive through the village of Blagdon, following the A368, passing the school and the cricket ground on the right.
  • At the top of the hill, the A368 bends sharply to the right, turn left at the Seymour Arms, and proceed steeply upwards. The Mendip Centre is located off this road towards the top of the village.

Approaching Blagdon from Wells – 10.8 miles OR Shepton Mallet 14.3 miles (A39)

On the B3134, (towards Burrington), just after passing the left hand turning signposted Charterhouse, take the next right, signposted Blagdon (road named Two Trees) at the bottom of the straight road, bear right and follow through the ‘S’ bend, the Yeo Valley Lakewood, The Mendip Centre is on the left. Note

  • The steep roads, (Street End, Two Trees & Rhodyate) are narrow with adequate passing places.
  • Visitor parking is on the left just after you enter.
  • All visitors are asked to report to Yeo Valley Lakewood Reception and sign in.
